Creamy vegetable soup


Ingredients:
2 cups - chopped onion
2 - garlic pods
1/4 cup - frozen corn
1/4 cup - chopped beans
2 cups - chopped cabbage
1/4 cup - chopped carrot (if required)
1/4 cup - milk
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 tsp - oil



Method

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Fry onions and garlic till they turn transparent.
  3. Add cabbage, beans, corn and salt.
  4. Fry for a minute.
  5. Add enough water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  6. Using a hand blender, make a smooth paste.
  7. Pass the soup through a strainer(this step is optional).
  8. Add milk and bring the soup to boil. Sprinkle pepper and serve.
